A fabulous Holiday Home in El Terreno, Palma de Mallorca.

That is why, for several weeks we have been introducing new disinfection and cleaning protocols for all our properties, as an improvement and guarantee, in order to avoid the spread of contagious diseases.

The house is located in the district of El Terreno, bounded by the sea and the Bellver Forest.


At just two hundred meters from Paseo Maritimo is the Sea Promenade. The gentle sea breeze and spectacular views make this area perfect for walking or cycling. It boasts a spectacular setting, with Bellver Castle in the background, as well as the Cathedral, fishing harbor and Palma yacht club. At just hundred meters from the house there is a wonderful tropical park and a good playground for the children.

In a district with all the necessary facilities, a bakery, chemist, supermarkets, a selection of grocery stores as well a wide range of bars. It sits on a quiet street within easy reach of the sea, the historic quarter and the city of Palma shopping mall, Porto Pi.

 The house has good public transport links, with the bus system being both fast and efficient, although cycling and walking are also easy alternatives. Visitors will not need a car, unless they wish to tour the island. Free street parking is available as well as an underground car park (charges apply).

5 - minutes walk to Paseo Marítimo (Av. Gabriel Roca), Palma’s main Street full of bars, restaurants and night clubs. If you are planning to enjoy the Palma nightlife, Pachá, Tito’s and Garito Café are walking distance away.  15 – 20 minutes from the crystal-clear waters of Cala Mayor, San Agustín and Illetes beach. Only a 20-minute walk away is Santa Catalina, a former fishing quarter that today is packed with restaurants, bars and a bustling food market. 


15 - minute taxi ride, Son Sant Joan Airport, is only 12 km away.


El Terreno Neighborhood



In older times, at the beginning of the 1900s, “El Terreno” became an exclusive residential area, where you will find fantastic villas, charming and colourful low built houses, combined with modern apartment buildings that have great sea views. The streets are narrow and quiet.

Years ago, many families from Palma used to have their summer residence here in El Terreno, as it is located on the hillside that enjoys a cool breeze in the summer time. You can still easily see traces from this time just by looking at the big and beautiful villas with large gardens and the fabulous views.

In the 60’s and 70’s, El Terreno was the centre of the city’s nightlife, especially around “Plaza Gomila” which was known as the international jet set hotspot.

Located just next to El Terreno is the green nature reserve Bellver Park with its great old Castle, the perfect spot to enjoy a long walk, go for a jog or just enjoy the fresh air and the great panoramic views over Palma. El Terreno neighbourhood, at only at hundred meters away from the Sea Promenade, is the ideal spot for long walks, runs, or cycling around the entire Palma Bay cycleway.

 

Flexible changeover day, arrival at 15:00 hours departure at 11:00 hours. We work hard at accommodating everyone's needs so your holiday runs smoothly. If an earlier/later arrival or departure into the house is needed please enquire at the time of booking, it is not always possible but we will try to help.

We request information about the day and time of your flight arrival and departure to organize the reception of clients and their departure.

Refundable deposits are required for any damage to the property or contents, which will be refunded 48 hours after checking out by bank transfer, so we will request your bank details (full name, name and address of the bank, IBAN, swift or bic number) either before or on arrival.

Bookings also taken for December to March. Long winter rental prices on request.

Added to the booking price will be the electricity which is not included, this will be a charge of 0,25€ per kWh by the meter reading. The numbers on the clock will be recorded and then again on the check out. This will be payable on the day you leave.

From January 1st 2018, The Balearic government require a Balearic Tourist Tax, payable at the time of booking, prices vary depending on the duration of the stay and the season (Low or High). This tax is applicable for travelers over the age of 16 years old.You will need to pay this on arrival at the check in, if not already saved.

Please note if your arrival to the property is after 21:00 hours, there is a late check in fee of 50 euros which can be paid in cash on arrival.

All garbage must be removed from the house before you leave on the check out day, or there will be 50€ extra charge.

The loss of a set of keys with the alarm command will have a charge of 200€.
